Biodiversity provides vital goods and services, such as food provision, carbon sequestration and cultural services that strengthen economic prosperity, social well-being and quality of life.

While conservation planning for biodiversity is a well-established research field, our ability to plan for ecosystem service provision is dependent upon the development of a reliable framework for understanding how ecosystems provide services (Millennium Ecosystem Assessment).

The aim of this project is to generate a user-friendly automatic ecosystem service evaluation tool to calculate on-demand maps of ecosystem service provision anywhere globally.
